ST. MARTINVILLE — The Lake Martin boat launch is open for the first time in nearly nine months. That's according to a report by the Advocate.
The move comes days after the state sued the owners of the property where the boat launch is located in an attempt to restore public access to the lake.
Adjacent parkings areas, which are also located on private property, remain closed.
