Registration is now open for the 5th annual Treble on the Teche arts camp in Breaux Bridge.

The three-day camp, hosted by the Teche Center for the Arts, is open to children ages 7-13 and will feature classes on music, art, dance and language.

Students can also learn percussion, accordion, guitar, and fiddle.

Treble on the Teche begins on Monday, November 25 and runs until Wednesday, November 27. The camp will conclude with a musical performance by students and instructors on November 27 at 4:00 pm.

The performance is free to attend.

The camp will be taught by Acadiana artists and musicians including Gina Forsyth, Jan Boney, Susan Morrogh, Zach Huval, Kevin Dugas, Chad Huval, and Brazos Huval.

Lunch will be provided to students by area restaurants.

According to the Teche Center for the Arts, Treble on the Teche is a unique opportunity for students, musicians, artists, volunteers and the community to share in the rich and diverse Cajun and Creole culture.

Parents are encouraged to register their child early due to the camp's popularity. Registrations can be done online at the Teche Center website.
