The Parks community celebrated the life of Martin Luther King Jr. today at the Parks Middle School today.
The event included a march, a guest speaker and a quiz bowl.
Ensuring young people know of Dr. King's accomplishments and legacy is paramount, said Alicia Breaux, Treasurer, Parks Community Support Services.
"We hope that everyone can understand what Dr. King did, all the things that he accomplished, and how he paved the way for all of us to live today," Breaux said.
