Police in St. Martinville are investigating a shooting that injured one person.
Officers say that at around 3:54 PM on Friday, December 27, 2019, they received a call from the father of a St. Martinville man who had been shot in the leg. St. Martinville Police are investigating near the intersection of Jefferson Street and LaSalle Street where they say multiple shots were fired at a vehicle after an argument between two parties.
During the shooting, one adult victim was shot in the leg. That person was treated and sent to a Lafayette hospital.
No other details were released but more information is expected to be released at a later time.
