LGH continues St. Martin Parish COVID-19 testing with Arnaudville location

On Thursday, Lafayette General Health will begin community COVID-19 testing at the Arnaudville Civic Center.

The testing site will be open from Thursday, June 11 until Wednesday, June 17 from 8 am to 4 pm each day.

LGH says the testing is part of their continued testing efforts this week in St. Martin Parish.

On Wednesday, June 10, the week-two testing site at the Cecilia Civic Center will close at 4 pm.

Testing is open to residents of all ages who wish to know if they have the novel coronavirus, including those who may be asymptomatic.

There is no costs for those who wish to be tested and LGH says no one will be turned away.

Testing will be conducted in a drive-thru setting and those being tested should remain in their vehicles.

LGH says community residents will receive their results within 24 to 72 hours. Those testing positive will be contacted by phone.
