UPDATE: All lanes are now open on nterstate 10 westbound at Whiskey Bay after a crash.
I-10 West is closed at Whiskey Bay due to an accident. Congestion is approximately 2 miles in length. Motorists are advised to use an alternate route.

A State Police spokesman said several vehicles were involved, but so far only minor injuries have been reported.
