Catholic Charities continues work on Delta recovery for Acadiana residents

ST. MARTINVILLE, La. — Catholic Charities is continuing their work to help in the Delta recovery efforts around Acadiana.

In St. Martinville, volunteers with the organization tarped a home on Bridge Street that sustained damage.

Catholic Charities is still in need of volunteers to assist in apply tarps on damaged roofs.

Those interested in volunteering to assist on a tarp team can click here and choose "tarp team" in the form options. Service groups, churches and civic organizations are especially invited to volunteer as a group to work under the guidance of Catholic Charities and Rebuilding Together Acadiana staff.

Catholic Charities of Acadiana is also in need of tarps to assist those who have suffered damage and are in need of assistance. Those interested in donating tarps can bring tarps to any area Goodwill of Acadiana location or purchase online and have them shipped directly to the Catholic Charities of Acadiana warehouse by clicking here
