The pontoon bridge in Butte LaRose will close due to safety concerns.
St. Martin Parish Government has received notification from the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development that the pontoon bridge in Butte LaRose should be closed immediately and until further notice.
Parish Government say they have made arrangements to evaluate what repairs are needed to the structure and is hopeful that the period of closure will be minimal.
