St. Martin Parish deputies arrested a Broussard man on multiple drug charges Friday.
Larry Lyons, 44, was arrested in the 2900 block of Atchafalaya River Highway after getting a call about a suspicious vehicle.
Deputies allegedly found a large amount of black tar and brown heroin, meth, powder cocaine, drug paraphernalia and cash, deputies say.
Lyons was booked with Possession With Intent to Distribute Schedule I CDS (Black Tar Heroin);
Possession With Intent to Distribute Schedule I CDS (Brown Heroin); Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule II CDS (Methamphetamine) - More than 28 grams; Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule II CDS (Cocaine HCL); Transactions Involving Proceeds from Drug Offenses
and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Following his arrest, he was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center. He remained there late Wednesday in lieu of $75,000 bond.
The investigation remains ongoing and more arrests are expected.
