Breaux Bridge police need help from local kids to decorate their Christmas tree

The Breaux Bridge Police Department is looking to trim their Christmas tree with decorations made by local children.

Kids can get creative over the Thanksgiving holiday by making ornaments for officers to use when setting up their tree.

"We were thrilled with the ornaments we received last year and we would like the children of this community to once again assist with the decorating of our Christmas tree," the department said.
Those wanting to participate can create their ornaments and drop them off at the Breaux Bridge Police Station located on Berard Street.

Parents can also call 337-316-8742 to arrange a pick up.

This is the second year that the department has requested that ornaments be handmade by area kids.
