A Breaux Bridge man has been arrested on sexual battery charges following an investigation into alleged indecent behavior with a juvenile.
According to Sheriff Becket Breaux, St. Martin Parish deputies received a report on September 29 regarding the alleged indecent behavior and a subsequent investigation was initiated.
At the culmination of the investigation, an arrest warrant was obtained for 44-year-old Corey Jude Theriot of Breaux Bridge.
Following the execution of the warrant, Theriot was arrested on the morning of December 10, and charged with one count of oral sexual battery.
He was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center; no bond has yet been set.
