A home in Breaux Bridge received extensive damage Friday morning during a fire on Mim Callier Road.

Firefighter with the St. Martin Parish Fire District say the fire occurred on October 30 at 6:30 am.

When units arrived, the home was found to be fully engulfed in flames. With winds intensifying the fire, firefighters say it took crews nearly two hours to extinguish the flames.

As a result, the home suffered extensive damage.

All of the occupants were able to escape without injury.

The Fire District says that the Red Cross was notified to help assist the family.

Crews from the Breaux Bridge, Henderson, and Parks Fire Departments responded to the fire.
