UPDATE: Due to expected severe weather, repairs have been postponed until tomorrow night at 10:00 p.m.
According to officials, the boil advisory will be in effect following repairs, until further notice.
Everyone in St. Martinville is under a boil order right now, and water will be shut off tonight.
A major line broke, and the shut-off is required so crews can make necessary repairs, officials say.
The work will be done on Madison and New Market, and was supposed to start at 10 p.m. The repairs are expected to take about two hours.
