Another road in Lower St. Martin Parish has now been closed because of rising waters.

The St. Martin Paish Sheriff's Office says that effective immediately, Four Mile Bayou Road in lower St. Martin Parish will be closed to vehicular traffic until further notice.

Adell Street, Edna Street, and Landry Road, also in lower St. Martin Parish were closed previously and will remain closed.

The public is asked not to sight-see or attempt to go around barricades and/or signage that have been put in place.

They ask that those traveling in the area be respectful of those who live in these affected areas and do not attempt to drive through standing water on the roadway.
