The North Park swimming pool in Opelousas will soon start hosting swimming lessons.
According to the Daily World, UPS presented a check in the amount of $1500 to Mayor Julius Alsandor, Councilwoman Chasity Davis, and Opelousas Parks and Recreation Director Chris Rideau.
Representatives of UPS were James Joseph and Chris Willis.
The check, presented on July 20, will be used to defray costs of the swimming lessons.
