As we reported last night, three people were involved in a shooting last night in Grand Coteau.
Today, Police Chief Wilton Guidry said none of the injuries sustained in last night's shooting were serious; all of the people have been treated and released. He also said that no one involved is cooperating with investigators.
None of the people involved are from Grand Coteau, he said, and they're not cooperating with police. Guidry said investigators believe drugs were involved, and that the incident began in Leonville.
He said investigators believe the two groups pulled over in Grand Coteau, and that's when the shooting happened. However, since those involved aren't cooperating police are having to piece thinsg together without them.
If you have any information about the incident, please call Grand Coteau Police or St. Landry Parish Crime Stoppers.
