Two alternative programs in St. Landry Parish will be closed on Tuesday according to the school system.
The Center for Academic Programs (CAPS) and Virtual program will be closed on Tuesday January 21, 2020.
Students in the St. Landry Accelerated Transition School (SLATS) program will have school on Tuesday.
The school system says that the programs classes are made up of strictly online content and the connectivity to each of those campuses can’t be established at this time.
Last week, the school system said the were the victims of a cyber attack. That incident on Wednesday shut down the school systems computers and network. No schools were closed.
According to the school board, as of Monday Janaury 20, their website is back up on mobile devices. Work is ongoing to get the parish's technology systems back up and running.
