A boil water advisory has been issued for some residents of Leonville after a water line break.
According to officials, a four inch water main was broken by a large tree.
Areas affected by the boil order include addresses between 1004 and 168 Hwy 31.
Officials say that because of the problems, water produced by the supply system is of questionable microbiological quality.
The advisory has been issued for the Leonville Water System as a precaution. It will remain in effect until rescinded by the Town of Leonville Water System.
Customers are advised to boil their water for one full minute before consuming.
