St. Landry Parish Crime Stoppers is asking for help in solving a burglary in the Eunice area.
On March 25, 2020, deputies were dispatched to the 200 block of Prairie Street. Unknown suspects entered the home though a window while the owners slept.
Video surveillance showed the suspects enter the home four times from 1am to 3am. Stolen was an 18x24inch home Century safe containing jewelry, saving bonds, legal papers, and stone carved animals totaling more than $19,000 dollars.
A dolly was stolen from the victims shed and used to move the safe; it was found in a gully heading to East Dean Street .
