OPELOUSAS, La. - The St. Landry Parish Veterans Memorial had two special guests tour the site.
Senator Gerald Boudreaux and Louisiana Secretary of Veterans Affairs Lieutenant Colonel Joey Strictland paid tribute to those who've served.
"This project is in honor and commemoration of all veterans of St. Landry Parish, of Louisiana veterans not just those that have fallen in battle but all those who have served the nation throughout all the wars," said Strictland.
