Senior citizens in Eunice a little more educated about their health and public safety this evening.
Community groups offering the seminar to teach the elderly about scams and how to keep themselves safe and providing a fellowship opportunity.
"They fear a lot," Paula Anderson, Women On A Mission. I think it's more fear, and so they don't wanna come out of their homes, don't wanna come out of their apartments, to be a part of these things like this here. So if we can do this more often and bring it to the community and get them educated on what's really going on, then I don't think those things like that'll happen."
