Residents in Port Barre are now under a boil advisory until further notice.
Officials say that advisory is effective immediately and is due to the winter weather conditions. The advisory was issued on February 19, 2021.
Residents should boil their water before consuming it. The advisory will be in place for all water system customers until further notice.
