Opelousas Police are currently working the scene of an accident involving three cars.
According to Major Mark Guidry, the accident occurred just before 4:00 p.m. on I-49 near Judson Walsh Drive.
There is partial lane blockage at the scene.
One person was transported for medical treatment, police say.
