Parents of OHS students get help with suiting up for the job search

We're happy to share our good news. Tomorrow, between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. at Opelousas High School, UL-Lafayette Broadcasting students and OHS students and staff will hold "A Suit for You." It's a unique professional clothing closet open to OHS parents who are unemployed or underemployed. Parents are asked to donate $5 to shop for as many items as they'd like. All donations go directly to the newly rebooted OHS band. In short, "A Suit for You" benefits OHS parents and students. UL-Lafayette students donated all of the nearly 100 gently used items to make "A Suit for You" possible, as part of a fall semester community service project.
