Music & Market is kick off in Opelousas for its fall season .
The event returns on Friday, October 4th to Opelousas beginning with Lil Pookie & The Zydeco Sensations at the Farmers Market Pavilion.
The outdoor concert series, is designed to promote the area's music heritage while highlighting local farmers and their produce. Each week, in addition to a musical guest, a different produce item will be featured. The October 4th event will spotlight the vegetable, kale.
