Senior students at Opelousas High school are getting gifts for graduation.
The seniors will have a drive-thru like procession at OHS campus on Wednesday from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. Gift will be handed out as officials and school staff cheer on their grads.
The police department will participate to direct traffic and have sirens blaring to provide a parade atmosphere. Organizers say that Opelousas Mayor Julius Alsandor, District Attorney Cravins, State Representatives and School Board Reps and a few others will be present.
