The Boil Advisory set into place Thursday for residents of some streets around the Indian Hills Subdivision in the Opelousas area has been lifted.
These remainding streets include McNeese (east of the canal), Johnson, Blue, Leday, Recard and Peace Streets.
The initial advisory was implemented Thursday, March 26, after a break in a water line occurred.
On Friday, the water boil advisory was lifted for some streets which included Attakapas, Natchez Blvd, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Chippewa, Tunica, Tensas, Deitlien, Catherine and Kingston.
