OPELOUSAS, La. - A 39-year-old man who is accused of having sexual contact with two children was arrested last week in Houston.
On October 20, 2019, officers with the Opelouas Police Department investigated a compliant that alleged Juan Jaouin Scott had inappropriate contact with two children, ages 12 and 13, according to Major Mark Guidry, spokesperson for the Department.
A warrant was issued for Scott's arrest on October 21, 2019, for two counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile and one count of sexual battery.
He was arrested by the Houston Police Department on October 22, 2019, after officers requested assistance in locating him.
The suspect was transported back to Opelousas and booked into the St. Landry Parish Jail on October 29, 2019.
