Opelousas Police are currently on the scene of a shooting that resulted in the injury of one male victim.
A spokesman said the shooting occurred just before 12:00 P.M. in the 700 blk of E. Madison Street.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threating injuries.
The investigation is active and more details will be released as they become available.
