OPELOUSAS, La — Opelousas police are investigating a shooting on Monday morning that left one person injured.
The shooting happened on Academy St near Blanchard St. at approximately 2:47 am on July 26.
According to Chief Martin McLendon, the victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Detectives are interviewing possible witnesses.
