UPDATE: OPELOUSAS, La. – Police have released the name of the victim of a suspicious death.
Police found the body of Stacey Levier, 48, on Market Street early Sunday morning.
Police have not confirmed if this case was a hit-and-run.

Opelousas Police are asking for help in an investigation of a suspicious death.
Police found a body laying in the road of Market Street near Prudhomme at about 1 a.m. Sunday.
Initially, investigators believe the person was hit by a vehicle.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (337) 948-8477.
Police say a passing motorist saw the victim and called police.
