The Opelousas Police Department has arrested a suspect wanted in connection to the shootings that occurred on Saturday, July 18.
Xavier D. Carr, 24, was booked with assault by drive by shooting, attempted first degree murder (7 counts), and two bench warrants.
Carr was wanted in connection with the shooting that happened around 8:15 P.M. on July 18 near Lincoln & Redmond Street. One person was injured in that shooting.
