An Opelousas man was arrested Tuesday after deputies say he shot at a woman's home and allegedly sent text messages to her phone telling her to "enjoy her last night breathing."

Deputies say 22-year-old Terry Wayne Johnson was arrested November 17 in reference to a drive by shooting incident that occurred at a residence on September 22.

During that incident, deputies say that Johnson shot at a home on Pavy Road. That home, they said, was of a woman he was allegedly cyberstalking.

At the time of the shooting, deputies say that two adults and three juveniles were inside.

An investigation by deputies found that Johnson had allegedly been in contact with the female victim and had sent her text messages threatening serious bodily harm. Some texts, they say, stated that he would kill her.

On the night of the shooting, deputies say that the victim allegedly received a text message from Johnson stating that he hoped she enjoyed her last night breathing.

An arrest warrant was issued for Johnson and he was booked into the St. Landry Parish Jail for 5 counts of Attempted Second Degree Murder and Cyberstalking.

His bond was set at $252,500
