The St. Landry Parish Chamber of Commerce hosted Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser on Thursday for their monthly Lunch and Learn series. Lt. Gov. Nungesser presented his "The Business of Tourism" update for the parish.
The event focuses on how state and local tourism and commerce go hand in hand and takes a look at upcoming projects businesses can expect to see in the parish.
Today's update was held at the Copper Crowne Equine Center in Opelousas. It was limited to 50 pre-registered attendees and social distancing measures were implemented.
