The Acadiana Workforce Development Board says that centers across the area will soon see new and improved technology and facilities.
The plan includes upgraded technology and more efficient work space which will support a higher level of service for the citizens within their communities.
The centers will now be known as “Acadiana Workforce Solutions” and will remains a partner of the American Job Center Network. Individuals will continue to have access to workforce development services in Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, and Vermilion Parishes.

Plans for the new centers and technology will be discussed on Wednesday at the Workforce Development Board’s quarterly board meeting in Lafayette.
