Grand Coteau Police are looking for the suspect in a hit and run that left one man with minor injuries.

Officers responded to a hit and run crash near the intersection of LA Hwy 93 and the I-49 North Service Road. Police were able to determine that a white male subject operating a white Harley Davidson motorcycle traveling northbound on the I-49 service road was struck by a white Oldsmobile traveling southbound on the service road.

From video footage obtained from local businesses, officers were able to determine that the white Oldsmobile fled the area via LA Hwy 93 traveling Eastbound.

Police determined that the vehicle is a late 1900s model, with a rusted roof, and the vehicle is missing hubcaps on the drive side back tire and passenger side front tire.

The victim sustained injuries to his left ankle and was later released.

Anyone with information on the crash is asked to contact the Grand Coteau Police Department at 337-662-3972.
