An historic St. Landry Parish dance hall caught fire while being demolished, and that blaze spread to a nearby home.
The owners of Bourque's Dance Hall was in the process of demolishing the hall when the fire started, according to St. Landry Parish Fire District One.
Fire officials say debris was being burned behind the dance hall and spread.
No one was injured in the fire.
