A man is accused of attempted murder after shooting at an apartment complex Sunday afternoon in Eunice.

Dustin B. Johnson, 33, of Eunice, was arrested by police on a bench warrant for five counts of attempted murder for the shooting, according to Chief Randy Fontenot.

Fontenot stated that several people witnessed the shooting and were able to make a description to police.

One woman was outside with children during the shooting and was able to get everyone inside safely, the Chief added.
