EUNICE, La. - Police have arrested a Eunice teen for her alleged involvement in a deadly shooting.
Lainey Lomas, 18, was arrested for principal to second degree murder, according to Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot.
Lomas was the alleged driver in a drive by shooting near Central Middle School on Nov. 4, 2019, that left De'Omaante "D Gotti" Frank, 21, of Eunice, dead.
Frank was riding a bicycle east bound on E. Maple Ave. A vehicle pulled up beside him and, according to witnesses, seven to 10 shots rang out from the vehicle.
The victim was struck once in the side. He was transported to Acadian Medical Center in Eunice where he died from his injuries.
Police arrested 19-year-old Demyron L Skinner in connection to the shooting last week.
The shooting appears to be a retaliatory gang action, according to police.
