UPDATE: Missing Port Barre woman found safe

UPDATE: The St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office says that Summer Simon was located by Lake Charles Police around 1 a.m. this morning.

The St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office and Crime Stoppers have issued a BOLO for a missing woman from Port Barre.

Deputies say that Summer Nicole Simon was last seen on Saturday, August 17 leaving her boyfriend's home in Port Barre.

The boyfriend tells deputies that Simon left the home following an argument.

She has been entered into the national database as a missing person.

Deputies say Simon has several tattoos in various places on her body. A full description of those tattoos from the department follows:

"She has several tattoos in various places on her body: Hello Kitty character picture on the left side of her neck near her ear, skull with a flower on the top of the skull located on the inside of the right forearm area, bible scripture reading on the left upper thigh area, mark inside of the right ear, octopus on the right top portion of the foot, a tree of hope her calf unsure of which leg, name "Gracelyn" on the back calf unsure of which leg, and finally an unknown tattoo of an unfinished butterfly on the back left shoulder area."
