COVID-19 testing will take place at two locations in Opelousas on Friday, August 14 and at one location on Saturday, August 15.
Southwest LA Primary Health Care Center will offer the testing by appointment on Friday.

On Saturday, August 15, a mobile COVID-19 testing site will also be made available in Opelousas.
Southwest LA Primary Health Care Center says the site at All Kids Pediatrics will be open from 8:00 am to 11:00 am for testing.
Those interested in receiving a test should bring a picture ID and their insurance card. Masks must be worn. You do not need to be exhibiting symptoms to be tested.
The Care Center says that those attending should remain in their vehicle.
