The 3rd Circuit Court of Appeal will consider an appeal from Fr. Michael Guidry later this month.
According to court documents, Guidry's case will be considered August 25th.
Guidry was released in April on an emergency appeal because of the pandemic. Read more on that here
In 2019 he was sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to molesting a teenage boy, who was the son of a deacon he served with at St. Peter's Church in Morrow.
