St Landry Parish is readying for their annual Thanksgiving Dinner.
Held at Opelousas Middle the dinner will be on November 26, 2020 from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This will be the 4th annual dinner for residents who are without a meal or someone to share Thanksgiving Day with.
"I want them to know that we still care and we still want to be able to share Thanksgiving with them so that's why we are continuing to have this dinner on Thanksgiving Day," said Thanksgiving Committee Member Toni Effingger.
Due to COVID-19, organizers say there will not be seating this year but families and individuals can walk-up to receive meals to go. A drawing will also be held at the dinner
