Officials with the City of Opelousas and the city's water plant are encouraging and asking residents to conserve and limit water usage.
Residents should conserve water over the next few days, as it could potentially have an impact on water pressure and levels throughout the city.
If leaks occur, residents should call 337-948-2555.
