UPDATE: The boil order issued to the St. Landry Parish Water District No.2 has been lifted.

A boil advisory is being issued for residents on St. Landry Parish Waterworks District No. 2 (Rural) water system due to a broken line on Chretien Point Road.
Contractors are on the way to repair the line break.
Water samples will be collected on Friday and dropped off at the Louisiana Department of Health & Hospitals.
All residents are asked to Boil Water until samples have been cleared by the Department of Health.
