A boil water advisory has been issued for customers of the Plaisance Water System.
The water system says that the boil advisory issued on Wednesday, Sept. 16, is due to an equipment malfunction.
Officials say it will be in effect until further notice.
Customers will be notified when the advisory has been lifted.
