Applications will open tonight after midnight for École Saint-Landry, described as St. Landry Parish's only full French immersion public charter school.
Student applications to École Saint-Landry will open at midnight tonight (February 1) for the 2021-2022 school year.
"We are seeking children of ALL abilities who live in St. Landry Parish and will be in kindergarten or 1st grade in August 2021," organizers say. "Tuition is FREE. Transportation will be provided. NO prior French experience is required from parents or students."
The application window will stay open until March 31, 2021 at 5:00 p.m.
There are limited seats available, and once applications close there will be a lottery the first week of April.
