Two alternative programs that were closed on Tuesday of this week will be closed again on Wednesday.
The St. Landry Parish School System says that the Center for Academic Programs (CAPS) and Virtual program will be closed on Wednesday January 22, 2020.
Classes are made up of online content and the recent cyber attack has left these programs without connectivity on their campuses.
The programs were closed on Tuesday for the same reason.
Last week, a cyber attack on Wednesday shut down the school system computers and network. No classes were canceled.
On Tuesday, January 20, 2020, officials say the website is back up for mobile users but work is still being done to get systems up and running at full capacity.
