OPELOUSAS — Police say a 15-year-old has been arrested in connection with a shooting Saturday on Park Avenue and Frilot Street in Opelousas.
The teen has been booked on charges of Attempted Manslaughter & Illegal Possession of a Firearm by a Juvenile.
Police say that the victim, who is 31-years-old, is still hospitalized and listed in guarded but stable condition.
Another shooting occurred in the same area last week, but the department says that they do not believe these shooting incidents are connected.
