Hurricane Laura has left many in Acadiana without basic needs.
While we all work to rebuild and get back on our feet after the storm, KATC is providing a way for those who can help to do so.
KATC along with the United Way of Acadiana, Second Harvest Food Bank and Catholic Charities of Acadiana will host the Spirit of Acadiana Day of Giving.
On Friday September 4, 2020 beginning at 6:00 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. anyone wishing to donate to those affected by Hurricane Laura can drop off much needed items to United Way of Acadiana Campus at 215 E Pinhook in Lafayette.
Below is a list of items which can be donated:
Non Perishable Foods
Dried or canned beans
Canned Chili, soup
Canned Fruits, fruit cups
Tomato and spaghetti sauces
Low sugar/high fiber cereal
Unused mops, buckets
Personal hygiene items
Commercial trash bags
Toiletries (soap, deodorant , toothpaste, shampoo)
Diapers (size 2-6)
